Framing Hanley is rocking the charts and getting their music heard. The five member, Nashville rock band has been featured on the Billboard 200 and the Top Independent Albums, making it to number 24. When Framing Hanley finished up their 2009 tour they went straight into the studio to work on their new album, “A Promise To Burn,” dropping may 4.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a wrestler.
I remember once that’s all, once. [Laughs]
Morning is 4 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 5 p.m.
My terrible treatment of my voice was a lesson
I use to love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I always figured I would be a teacher by now, a school teacher. If anyone else in the band heard me say that right now, they would make fun of me. [Laughs.] They would be like you, teach somebody, my kid would not be in your class.
I love my job.
Sometimes I look like I haven’t showered in four days.
I like to listen to Thrice.

I don’t like hockey on the TV, up front, all the time.
They say that Chris watches too much hockey, on the TV up, up front.
There’s something on besides hockey, Chris.
What would I tell Ryan about what just happened. [Referring to these questions.] Best series of interview questions ever.
My Best ideas come from alcohol.
The thing about alcohol is it gives you good ideas.
I grew up, I never grew up. [Laughs]

Hear Me Now [my body's on the floor and I am calling, I'm calling out to you…can you hear me now??] and Lollipop [She said he’s so sweet, I wanna lick the wrapper.] are two of Framing Hanley’s smash hits.

Framing Hanley, a five member band straight out of Nashville , Tennessee , is “A kick ass rock band” say’s lead vocalist and song writer Kenneth Nixon. Members of the band include Nixon (vocals), Ryan Belcher (guitar), Brandon Wootten (guitar, backing vocals), Luke McDuffee (bass, backing vocals), and Chris Vest (drums).

Framing Hanley was discovered in 2006 by Brett Hestla. Hestla helped the young band catch the attention of Jeff Hanson and his record label, Silent Majority Group. The band recorded and released their debut album, The Moment, in August of 2007. Since then, Framing Hanley has been rocking the charts and making their music heard. The Moment, made The Billboard 200, coming in at 169, and the Top Independent Albums, making it to number 24.

I caught up with Nixon and the rest of the guys when they came to play at The Last Day Saloon in Santa Rosa . I was greeted by their tour manager Rambo, (yes, this is his actual name and yes, they even have a Rambo poster on the door leading to the back bedroom.), who welcomed me aboard their tour bus, where I sat down with Nixon and asked him these questions: Click here for aduio
